Waterway Description:

A short cut from the River Dwyryd about 9 miles south east of Porthmadog.

Waterway's place in Gwynedd :

Waterway Description:

A cut from Tremadoc village, Merionethshire, to the River Glaslyn. Used to carry copper from a local mine.

History:

Opened about 1815, replaced by a tramroad in 1840.
