Pensnett Canal

Description of Pensnett Canal: Also called Lord Ward's Branch (another Lord Ward's branch runs from the north end of Dudley Tunnel to the B.N.C. main line) . Was a 1.25 mile level canal from Park Head basin on the Dudley Canal to Lord Dudley's Round Oak iron works.

History of Pensnett Canal: Built from 1839 to 1840, closed in 1950.
