Description of Driffield Navigation: Runs 7 miles from Driffield to the junction with the River Hull. Much of the waterway is unnavigable due to derelict locks and lowered bridges.
History of Driffield Navigation: Authorised by an Act of 1767 and completed in 1770. Improvements were authorised by an Act of 1801 and completed in 1805.
