Description of Preston Brook Branch (Bridgewater Canal): A short branch of the Bridgewater Canal that links the main line with the Trent & Mersey Canal at the start of Preston Brook Tunnel.
History of Preston Brook Branch (Bridgewater Canal): Built under the Bridgewater Canal Act of 1762 but completed in about 1773.
