Havasu City, Arizona, became a tourist attraction by buying London Bridge from the City of London in the 1960s. The stone facing of the bridge was shipped from London and reassembled on a concrete core. The Bridge was designed by John Rennie, senior, and built in 1820 by his son Sir John Rennie.
