This page shows a few places in Cardiff City Centre. Beryl and I lived in Cardiff with our daughters for sixteen years and we all greatly enjoyed our time there. It is a city with a lot to offer in a fairly compact area.

Left: St. John's Church with the Victorian covered market to the left. Out of view on the right of the church is the modern St. David's Shopping Centre with the St. David's Hall above. Many concerts and stage performances are held in St. David's Hall including the "Cardiff Singer of the World" contest. A much older venue is the New Theatre, which is home to the Welsh National Opera and stages other shows as well. |
