The Isle of Skye

Skye is a good place for walking with many footpaths and tracks. We found the roads system rather limited with some A class roads having only a single track with passing places. Luckily there was not too much traffic about in June 1990 when we were there.

Right: Butterfly Orchid Platanthera Chlorantha near Waternish Point.

Above: Just one of the many paths that Lead to the Sligacham Hotel on the east coast of Skye.
